THE TOTAL CUSTOM PACKAGE
This is the perfect ceremony for those whom wish to make their ceremony one of a kind. Choose everything about their ceremony, add as much as you want to it, make the script yours.

This ceremony is non-religious. Gives you the opportunity to make it a meaningful ceremony but keeping it short at the same time. Perfect for those couples looking for a fast yet meaningful ceremony not just civil.

This ceremony is for those couples whom wish to include their religious beliefs. Whether they share the same beliefs or want to make it an interfaith ceremony.

​WHAT IS THE LEGAL AGE FOR MARRIAGE IN CA?
In the state of California, you must be over 18 years old to marry.

DO YOU MARRY ANYONE UNDER AGE OF 18?
​
No, RWS does not. (Call the County Clerk for more information)
​

WHAT ABOUT THE BLOOD TEST?
​
In the state of California, you do not need the blood test to be married.
​
​

WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR OBTAINING A MARRIAGE LICENSE?
You have to go to any county clerk office within three months of the wedding date (not before) with photo ID and both must be present.
​

DO WE HAVE TO PAY THE FULL AMOUNT WHEN WE BOOK OUR WEDDING?
RWS only ask for the half of the amount when you book your wedding day and the remaining balance is required to be payed before I begin the wedding ceremony.

CAN YOU GIVE ANY DISCOUNT?
Yes, if any of the people getting married is 65 years old or older you can get our special discount of 10%.
​

CAN WE CANCEL OUR WEDDING PLAN?
Yes. However, the deposit is not refundable, but you have up to 6 months from the date of the wedding to reschedule your wedding.

DO YOU SEND OUR MARRIAGE LICENSE AFTER THE CEREMONY?
RWS sends the marriage license after the ceremony and will send you an unofficial copy to your email.

HOW CAN WE GET OUR OFFICIAL MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE?
You pick it up from the county clerk office 3 ~ 4 weeks of ceremony or can have it mailed to your house (additional fees apply).

DO WE HAVE TO TIP TO THE MINISTER?
No. However, traditionally the father of the bride or best man tip the Minister but not required.
​
​
​
ARE YOU EXPECTED TO INVITE THE MINISTER TO THE RECEPTION?
Absolutely no obligation.
​

WHERE CAN WE CELEBRATE OUR WEDDING CEREMONY?
Any place that is allowed in the state of California.
​
​
​
IS THE CEREMONY ONLY PERFORMED IN ENGLISH?
No, the ceremony can be perform in English, Spanish and bilingual (English / Spanish).
​

HOW LONG IS THE CEREMONY?
10 ~ 40 minutes approx. It all depends on what type of ceremony you choose.

CAN WE CHOOSE OUR OWN MUSIC, READINGS, ETC.?
Yes. RWS can give you ideas. However, you have the freedom to create the desired ceremony. Remember it's your day.
